Mission of
Forerunners Generation International
It is the mission of Forerunners Generation International to inspire an awakening in, shaking up, equipping and unification of all denominations of the Body of Christ. We desire to see the power of God that is only released through prayers and the unity of His church, being manifested to all people. We seek to re-establish the kingdom of God around the world through fervent prayer, teaching, preaching from the Holy Scriptures, spiritual giftedness and leadership development.
Forerunners Generation International has a particular God given mission that sets it apart from other ministries; one that is deeply rooted in the center of God’s Word and based on these God given commandments. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind…. and you shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39 ); and “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 15:16-18 ).
Therefore it is the mission of Forerunners Generation International to promote and establish the Kingdom of God worldwide, (And He (Jesus) said unto them, I must preach the Kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent (Luke 4:43 )) (cf. Luke 8:1 , Luke 9:2 , Luke 10:9 , Luke 16:16 ). We intend to accomplish this through empowering and impacting lives through God’s Word and to inspire an awakening, equipping and unification of all denominations in the Body of Christ.
We desire to see the power of God manifested to all God’s people, along with spiritual gifting and leadership development, in covenant with all denominations in the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12 ; 1 Peter 2:9-10 ; Hebrews 6:19-20 ).
Forerunners in Action
General Vision; Forerunners Generation has been equipping the kingdom of God utilizing the five-fold ministrygifts through uncompromised teaching from the Scripture while modeling and teaching the importance of fervent, kingdomfocused prayer. We encourage unity and personal transformation through prayer and fasting to restore and/or release the power of God back to the Body of Christ and His church.
We will develop relationships in the local bodies of churches that encourage times of corporate and unified ministry. We will unify the Body of Christ and bridge denominational barriers encouraging churches to work together towards true Kingdom building purposes.
Activities; Forerunners Generation International will accomplish our goals through a variety of conferences, music concerts, crusades, mission trips, sports and school visits. Conferences and speaking engagements, while always led by the Holy Spirit, will cover areas such as prayer, personal growth and transformation, unity, love and utilization of all of the spiritual gifts. Pastor Swanzy and the Forerunners Generation team also expand the ministry using the media through national and international television and radio interviews as well as a vibrant Internet presence.
Prayer Ministry; The Forerunners team has been establishing contagious, spirit led prayer ministries through their CrossFire Prayer warriors. Our weekly prayer meetings differ from many through our focus on Kingdom building, lack of
self and corporate focus, while unifying a multi-denominational body of believers in vibrant, powerful, Holy Spirit led prayer. CrossFire Prayer Warrior groups intercede on behalf of other people, churches, communities, nations, and governments. CrossFire Prayer Warriors leadership team actively assists in the development and equipping of multi-denominational, vibrant and passionate and prayer groups throughout the United States and internationally.
Pastor Forson Swanzy and Forerunners Generation International seek to free the Holy Spirit to move through the Body of Christ by assisting in the true transformation of, and God’s manifestation in, all generations and races to lead the way towards Christ’s second coming.
