Forerunners Generation Empowerment/Equipping Ministry
Forerunners Generation’s equipping ministry empowers the Christian body through training and demonstration of the seven Motivational Gifts found in Romans 12:6-8 , the Gifts of the Holy Spirit found in 1 Corinthians 12-14 and the Five Fold Ministry Gifts found in Ephesians 4:11-13 . By establishing and training in the operation of the fivefold ministry, the ministry body is able to reach its full purpose and potential. The believers become empowered by the saving grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equipped through the work of the Holy Spirit to fulfill their God given call. This training in addition with prayer counseling, marriage counseling, teen counseling, pregnancy counseling, encouraging others, home and hospital visitation, problem solving, follow-up calls, crisis center, telephone counseling etc. with seminars to promote the efficient use of spiritual gifts in serving society and helping people understand their real personality and abilities.
We as Christian leaders must learn to reach, teach, train, and send into all the world Christians endowed with thesupernatural power of God in order to fulfill the Great Commission and to further the Kingdom of God here on earth. The world has heard the Gospel, now they are looking for something different than all the other religious tales. They want to see what makes the Gospel of Jesus Christ different from all the others. The difference is in the demonstration of Christ’s Love, Grace and Power (Ref. Matthew 11:1-5 ; Luke 7:19-22 )
Pastor Swanzy firmly believes that what the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 should be true of all believers and he is excited about proving the truth of it to you.
“And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. (2) For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. (3) I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. (4) And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, (5) that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”
